Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to Karl Germer
[EXTRACT]
[12 October 1930]
Monster [Hanni Jaeger] found a very good studio for 150 m.[arks] in the Würtzburger Platz. Has been inhabited by genuine artists—not the dirty Bohemian kind. Only snags are five flights of stairs and no steam heat. But we can't have everything. In all other ways it's ideal. But may not be free till 25th: not quite sure. It is very restful here [in Karl Germer's apartment]: we are really happy to feet that we may reasonably reckon on one week of peace.—
Cora [Cora Germer] will be delighted to hear that Monster burnt the chops!
P.S. Would you mind bringing back with you my hats (in your hatbox!) and the small yellow grip. Regardie [Israel Regardie] has these.
