Correspondence from Maria de Miramar to Gerald Yorke
59 Belsize Ave, N. W. 3.
February 19/31
Dear Yorke:
This morning I have been to see the Magistrate, and he said that he will first know what Crowley answer to you. Let me know at once his answer will you? He suggested me to take a Solicitor, but when you have the letter from A.C. He took his address from Berlin. Now I will write to Colonel Carter [Lieutenant Colonel John Carter] too. Please do not forget to let me know what he answer to you, This is my last hope of life. I am playing with her—life or death? I don't know.
Yours ever,
Marie.
