Yes: sorry indeed. Come for Eq[uino]x! Need not cost you a penny beyond the fare, if you don't mind a shakedown in this garret, and sharing the horse-and donkey-sausage which is now my main sustenance.

Monster [Hanni Jaeger] had an operation and is away very ill. The Germers [Karl Germer and Cora Eaton] seem to have forgiven you, and would help feed you.*

I think you ought to come—so many points to discuss. And your record!

Marie [Maria de Miramar]? She doesn't write and a letter to Belsize have come back "Not known"—Did you give me the right number?

I shall hope to see you Friday/train arrives 5 P.M. I think.

Better 'phone the day before.

Germer: 7890 West End.

I: 7391 Bavaria.

I'm pretty sure to be in till noon (I work from 6.30 a.m. these days!) and [illegible] till 10 a.m. bar accidents.

In any case, please reply by return.
