Lunched Pailthorpe [Grace Pailthorpe] to-day. Tells me the Braithwaite fellow merely runs your Canned Misinformation [illegible]. So perhaps my last letter went astray.

She says also you may come here soon. Please let me know by return, as I have an invitation for Whitsun which I must accept or decline at once.

Would be glad of any news, esp[ecially] about Foreman [N. J. N. Foreman]—I only get brief notes from him giving no detailed information. And I am really anxious to know that he will pull through.

In great haste
