Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to Gerald Yorke

C[are] F[rater]

93.

We took the liberty of opening cable from Dennes and letter from Bank, though addressed to you.

With the incomprehensible perversity to which I am accustomed, cash was sent to you. I wired Dennes "Yorke defected. Please arrange telegraphically transfer me direct. Crowley"—all that produced was cancellation of the draft!

Please get in touch with Dennes at once. Pretty Urgent
