Glad you are seeing some light. My first and last comment on the insult is that to write as you did of any woman is blackguardly; to write as you did to the man who loved her was mere criminal lunacy. You should pay the RM150 to Dr. Feld, if necessary by installments; but at least write to him that you will pay, as, owing to a mistake. some of my most valuable MSS are still in danger of seizure.
