Correspondence from to Isidore Kerman [of Forsyte, Kerman & Phillips]

to Aleister Crowley

26th July, 1933.

Dear Crowley,

I thank you for your letter. I told you that I was in Court at three o'clock, though I might have been back at half past three, I told you there was a possibility that I might be delayed.

The moneys that I have in hand are not sufficient to cover the amount due to my firm, and in the circumstances I cannot pay you any money or anything on your account.

If you wish me to proceed to take any further steps against Jarrolds Ltd you must put me in funds.

Yours faithfully,

Aleister Crowley, Esq.,
