Dear Sadleir,
Thanks for your letter of the 28th instant.
"WHY JESUS WEPT" is included in Volume 3 of "THE WORKS" [Collected Works]. You will remember letting me have the three volumes. It only covers some thirty pages and may not be the same as the Bodleian copy but it is probably sufficient for our purpose.
I will bear Mr. McKenzie's name in mind should I have to see the Customs.
I have seen Betty May again and am hopeful of tracing the taker of the letters from her bag.
