Dear Sir,

Mr. Sadleir had no time before going away for a few days to reply to your letter of April 28th and asked me to do so for him.

We handed on your message about WHY JESUS WEPT to our lawyers, who now inform us that this item appears in Vol. III of the "Works" [Collected Works] which are already in their possession.

I also acknowledge with thanks your further note of yesterday giving the title of another item by A.C.

Yours faithfully,

Alfred Rose Esq.,
