Dear Sir,
We received your letter of May 8th and would venture to suggest that you would be wise not to endeavour to trade in copies of the first of the two books [White Stains] by Aleister Crowley about which you wrote us. In any event the book is an extremely rare one, and we are not in a position to say whether a copy can be had.
With regard to the second book these Confessions [The Confessions of Aleister Crowley] were remaindered not long ago and copies were available at Foyles and other places.
We return you the letter addressed to Mr. Crowley.
We are, Sir,
Yours faithfully,
E. H. Thompson Esq., The Cross Chichester
