Thank you very much indeed for your letter.

     

It has been a memorable case and I am relieved that it is now over. The technicalities gave us great anxiety in the Court of Appeal, but so long as the result is a win it does not matter how near it was to anything else. It was in truth just the language used by the Judge that put us in the difficulty and nothing we ever did.
