Thanks for Russell [C. F. Russell] dossier. Am taking all needful steps here. Meanwhile, please get him under 'false pretences' as I said.
About money. The theory is that all moneys go to the Grand Treasurer, who gives out to each branch according to its need.
My own position is that of the Central Brain, and I want all the powers I can get, not for myself, but in order to play the game better.
For example, see enclosed. All this mischief would never have arisen if there had been funds to fight these actions properly. And it may now be wanted badly, in case the Home Secretary, Public prosecutor and others fail to get promptly, to give them a swift kick in the pants!
It is no good acknowledging me as the Head of absolutely selfless Orders like the A∴A∴ and O.T.O. unless you are convinced of my absolutely integrity.
My worrying you has simply been that the lack of your usual contribution has meant constant defeat and paralysis, whereas if I had an income adequate to the circumstances, I should be able to make really large sums off my own bat, and send streams of fertilizing gold to you and other branches.
I want you just now to realize that the one essential is to expose the conspiracy against me. Do that, and I can instantly get 10,000 dollars or 15,000 for the English serial rights of my life-story alone. Then I can use the money to start you in a proper way, to come over and help organize etc.
So put these papers before all you know, try to collect a reasonably large lump sum and cable it.
