Correspondence from Aleister Crowley [as Michael Dowling] to Karl Germer [Crowley using an assumed name to communicate with Karl Germer without arousing suspicions from the German Gestapo]
Dowling-Kimber Secretariat Literary Agency Sentinel House W.C.1.
[16 September 1935]
We have approached several people [referring to Karl Germer's manuscript for Protective Prisoner No. 303] and find that the market is excellent. You would, however, have to come to London, to discuss the matter in a personal interview.—I think there might be an opportunity for you in connection with business, of which I enclose a prospectus.
With kindest regards from all, yours very truly,
Michael Dowling.
