[referring to Karl Germer's manuscript for Protective Prisoner No. 303] very good indeed . . . better than [Stefant] Lorant—absence of literary frills & technique of presentation improves it. Makes it convincing. And it is very good reading—will start up Ivor Nicholson & Watson [publishers] on Monday morning.
