Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to André Pigné
3 March 1936
Dear Mr. Pigné
Thanks for your letter of March 1st. I am very touched by your appeal, and as I am a 33 degree Mason, I could help you through my connections here, but I should have to see you first. I cannot say anything to you about your physical condition without a personal interview, especially as you suggest that part of the trouble may be from occult causes. I think the best plan is for you to come over and see me at once. I have a spare room in this flat (23 Albert Road) and should be very honoured for you to be my guest during your stay. I could probably also arrange to put matters right for you with regard to the other question. Money is not of great importance. Please telegraph the time of your arrival.
Yours sincerely.
