Care Frater 777,

93,

Your paper on QNA [Liber QNA vel Namen Dei sub figura CLI] seems to me admirable, and I think you may be right about the Qoph Nia. The only thing I am a little doubtful about is the Canaan, which appears to be spelt by the Rabbis as if they were office boys.

But what does surprise me is that you did not write the name qabalistically backwards, when the "wand of the force of Qoph Nia" would have indeed a meaning.

Thank you very much for the suggestion!

I am returning you the MS. for revision, and would like to have a copy when you have completed it to your satisfaction.

At the same time I have to remark that this is "rather for the study than the stage," and it is the stage on which we must now play our parts. The theoretical part of the Great Work on which we are engaged seems to me about as far as it is likely to get, and we must "apply our tools to our morals;" and vice versa.

am desperately rushed, but hope to send you a set of proofs in the next few days.

I enclose a Memorandum. If you can take one or more shares, do so. We are applying to outside people, but I would rather keep it in the family, if possible.

93     93/93.

Yours fraternally,

666.
