Care Frater 777,

93.

Yours of Sept 15.

I don't know what you mean about Max Schneider: nothing behind your back so far as I was concerned. My memory is that it was a routine matter, and you unavailable. You will observe the result of publication in due course.

"Physical pleasures" Tut!

But I never said I shirked a sacred duty. Result if that due about April.

About your Word. It smacks a little of U.B. [Universal Brotherhood]. "Mystery is the enemy of truth". Looks like an inflation of the Ego. Not happy about it. Want simplicity.

Door open in all the quarters, don't you know?

Shall be glad to hear further. May be in California by Xmas, though it doesn't look like it at the moment. If so—

Fraternally,

P.S. The Phoenix wants to hear officially from T.L. [Tantalus Leucocephalus—Stansfeld Jones' Motto]
