Greetings on all Points of the Triangle.
In reply to that portion of your official letter of July 22, 1936 which informs me of the existence of activities in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. purporting to be those of this Order or its representatives, this is to officially inform you that if such activities exist, and any of the degrees are being worked, this is without the knowledge or cognizance of the authorized Grand Master for the United States of North America who has given no permission whatever for any such working within the State of California. The activities to which you refer must therefore be held to be clandestine, and—if they exist—are so held by the Sovereign Sanctuary of the Gnosis in North America.
