Correspondence from Wilfred Talbot Smith to Aleister Crowley
30 Dec 36
. . . To-morrow night a newspaper man is having dinner with me—which is expected to result in some favourable publicity. He was here Sunday and after the Ritual a long talk ensued. He finally came out with the information that his news syndicate had sent him to get a story, not, however of the type he intends to write. I think our frank naive sincerity and serious intent disarmed him. Also he is personally interested. And thirdly he took a fancy to a charming little lady pupil of Regina's [Regina Kahl], who I think probably put in a good word for us.
