I was kidnapped by the Gods on Saturday and given a glorious week-end in Hants.
I lunch with Grove [Edward Grove] at the Café Royal at 1.15. Should like to see you afternoon or evening as there is good news from Germany, which may release the Book but possibly needs adjustment. Explain when I see you.
If you don't do this, will you drop me a line c/o Imperial Turkish Baths Russell Sq W.C.1. making a date for Wednesday.
(And don't forget the lecture Wednesday night).
