You knew I was there. awaiting your call. You could . . .

 

[Crowley continues] As long as there is all this fear in imagination and feebleness in execution, who is going to trust you with a job on which the fate of millions might depend?

 

P.S. You have got to see me on Monday. It's up to you to manage it. I shan't try to avoid you, but shan't give you my itinerary. If you succeed, we'll try something bolder at once.
