Correspondence from Frieda Harris to Aleister Crowley
[3 August 1937]
Dear Mr. Crowley,
I am so sorry I have been away since we met—and I fear I must have appeared to be very rude.
Thank you so much for offering to give me a pretense. I shall appreciate it very much.
We have let our flat and I have no abiding city for the moment but it would give me great pleasure if you will lunch with me at the Queens Restaurant Sloan Square on Friday, August 13th, at 1:30 p.m. Will you reply—
c/o Mrs. Blanche 57 Petersham Road Richmond
Yours sincerely,
Frieda Harris
