Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to Karl Germer

[EXTRACT]

[8 February 1938]

Dear Friend,

Adolph [Hitler] has done it this time, we all think. I doubt if he'll last another 6 months; after perhaps some futile military coup, Germany should settle down to a quiet Republic. People are getting tired of extremists everywhere. We have got Musso[lini] by the balls, and shall be free to mop up the Japs. Such seems the plan.
