Correspondence from Sir Percy Harris to Aleister Crowley

[13 October 1938]

My dear Crowley,

I was very interested to read your friend's [Karl Germer] memorandum written in Brussels. Of course I know there is a lot of truth in what he says and that the Allies blundered badly especially the French in their treatment of Germany in the years immediately after the War. The only thing that can be said in their defence is that it is nothing to what would have been if Germany had been victorious. However it is no use "crying over spilt milk." The Germans are now so strong that they are a real menace to the independence of the States that surround them.

It is interesting to note that a man who has suffered from the Natzi [sic] Terror views with favour their foreign policy.

Yours sincerely,

Percy A Harris
