Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to Karl Germer
[EXTRACT]
[15 October 1938]
Your long letter was so sane, and revealed such depth of thought with such nobility of character that I was overjoyed. I sent it on to Percy Harris, who was much impressed.
But you are all wrong. H.[itler] is making slaves to rule slaves. There is no room for any star in his system. His cosmos is based on the false unity of the "State" which is like Daath, not on the Tree [of Life] at all. He denies individual supremacy of Godhead, and he and his will crash. So shall I, unless I can take the "r" out of crash within a day or two.
