Correspondence from Frieda Harris to Aleister Crowley
[Undated: circa December 1939]
My dear Aleister,
Have you ever had chillblains, they tickle frightfully, I have never had them before! It is all this Viper of a Tarot!, and the days are so short. . . . I'm glad it is better about Germer [Karl Germer]. Has it occurred to you that the censor is holding his letters. Both of you are uncertain friends of England! . . . Percy [Percy Harris] pointed out to me quite seriously tonight that he thought it would be wiser to get something about all the cards completed quickly, in case I died!
