. . . We have had several social affairs here lately. Jane [Jane Wolfe] and Regina [Regina Kahl] worked like hell to pull them off. A good few hundred people have heard your name in the last 2 months, and they managed to send Germer [Karl Germer] 100 dollars out of their efforts.
