Correspondence from Wilfred Talbot Smith to Karl Germer

[EXTRACT]

[10 January 1942]

I do not wish to interfere . . . such a vital point in organization, and the first time to be met with in practice, despite the mandates on this very point in our literature. Had paternal advice and suggestions been given to those in authority instead of slurring comment to those in subordinate positions; i.e. "piss on the grave of his unknown father," "amateur theatricals." etc. etc.—amusing enough to a grown mind, bad for childish, particularly when they present them as Exhibit #1, #1, on up to prove what the Master thinks, long ago the Order might have been on its own feet instead of being supported by an individual, and supporting Baphomet in a style befitting him.
