Thanks for your p.c. [post card]. Thought I’d reply at once because of my plans. I have half arranged to go back to93 [93 Jermyn Street] on Oct 16. But now London is getting it again—rockets—bad—Govt. letting out nothing so far. But sounds very bad. So “’e dunno where ‘e are”. That paratroop army: only one glider failed to reach Holland, and it came down here! Just beyond Tring. Perfect landing; nobody hurt. No other news. Is Mrs. G-M coming 21st. She doesn’t write.
