Care Frater,

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

[Care Frater, or, to an 8º=3o, Care Magister, is the “correct” way to begin; “Yours fraternally” (if he is in the Order) to finish.]

Many thanks for yours of 18th; but “about Thursday”—is that the 21st or 28th?

“Hectic” = continuous. Dean Inge gave a further instance of his ignorance by objecting to young people saying “We had a hectic time” or the like. They were precisely correct. I will advise about the Sigil when I have set up your horoscope.

Your letter arrived on the day of the Solstice; thanks for the good wishes. “The same to you, only louder!”

Love is the law, love under will.

Yours sincerely & fraternally

P.S. This is important for me to know at once: are your parents in sympathy with your interest in these matters which concern us? Any hope of seeing you this week-end or next? 666.
