Yours of 3rd.

O.K. Suppose you’ll catch an evening train day [Friday] I got some brass buckles from Dale; now all I want is silver do [ditto] for breeches.

Miss M.[anning] is a curse; she thinks of nothing but her lousy spooks.

Upchurch of H & B [Hedges & Butler] is always very elusive. Best ask for him to have a parcel made up for you to pay for & collect.

This U.S.A. business is past all patience!

I’m quite O.K. but not going out in cold winds.

Did I mention emery boards for fingernails? Would like a packet or two.
