Delighted to have your letter of the 5th inst. I am afraid I haven't the slightest idea where you could apply for a job, except of course the silly old Labour exchange. I don't see why you shouldn't ask Davis to reinstate you, as they are familiar with your brilliant abilities, and know their work intimately. I can't tell you how many copies have been sold, but I have no cause to complain. I am making a note of your address at 24, Belsize Rd. I have no particular news, and not feeling at all like writing letters, so forgive me if I leave off here.
Love is the law, love under will.
