Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to Louis Umfreville Wilkinson
[27 June 1945]
This morning I wired you. . . "Everything arranged expect you second Crowley". It took me just five minutes to find an excellent gite[1] less than 2 minutes walk from here. That's the measure of Almighty Mister Richardson [Ralph Richardson]! "Hope the dentist's over". Some little optimist. He will go on excavating all summer; and if I get fixed good by Xmas I shall be lucky. No more now; just finished the "Letter" I specially want you to criticize, and you must revise hard so as to give to typist Thursday P.M. that you may have it legible July 6 1945.
