Here's summer at last! No word from Cowtan [& Sons, Ltd.] or from Adamson yet. I hope you will have thrust a white-hot skewer into their entrails. Only a week left to do the work in. Hope you had a joyous time at West Drayton—it's too hot to write more than the barest essentials, especially as I go to the dentist this P.M. and I always feel a bit uneasy, not knowing just how hellish it is going to be. Love to Joan—I hope she too will visit the unquiet glimpses of this baby-blasted hostel.

Yours

Aleister
