I go to Adams [George Adams] for geometry only . . . but he is frightened of life & does not comprehend the burning loveliness of it . . . they all seek illumination by negation except you.

It is a 3 or 4 dimensional figure I want to make [for one of one of her paintings for the Thoth Tarot] & I cannot accept that it is unpaintable. It is just paintable but does not aim at representation of objects as we look at them with our eyes only how they appear to my imagination . . . I am sorry it is like a booming noise inside me this clearly defined shall I call it vision.
. . . the noise of the picture must be listened to & how can I see inside it without hours of thought. The colour is so lovely, earth & air 4 of each (recipe by A.C.) but I am still worried about the movement of the space around the form in the centre. Yes! it can be painted but it must be right & technically it is though I have made a model after days of walking looking for cardboard but the law of 5 & the spiral (this is not rot it is the core of the picture) must be kept perfect.
