Last evening, when Jack [Jack Parsons] brought me these various papers for me to post to you. I saw, for the first time, the small boy, or child. This is it that is bewildered, does not quite know when to take hold in this matter, or where, and is completely bowled over by the ruthlessness of Smith [Wilfred Talbot Smith]—Smith, who has a master hand when it comes to dealing with this boy.
