Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to Louis Umfreville Wilkinson

Dear Louis
Yours came nicely in time. But as a registered package posted London on Monday A.M. has not come yet, I thought it best to wire you. I lent my copy of Commentary to Mellinger [Frederic Mellinger]; so it's in Hildesheim at present; hinc illae lachrime. Very glad you're coming so soon: I want you to glance through OLLA; there may be a poem or two that should be cancelled or replaced. One must have a second mind; do what one will, one is always liable to forget something that sticks out 7 miles. E.g. last time I looked through the M.S. I suddenly realized that there wasn't a single example of pure nature-beauty which was at one time my long suit. So I borrowed a Collected Works, and there are now 54 items. I want to consult you, too, about a circular letter which I propose to send to a few publishers, and, with a few changes, to reviewers. It is an appeal for fair play with good cheese in the trap.
Yours
Aleister
