Correspondence from Charles Stansfeld Jones to Albert H. Handel

Dear Brother Handel,

Reverting to your suggestion that it might be your office to reconcile apparent differences between Parzival and his Father, and my reply that things seemed to me alright as they stood; it was not my intention thereby to stop you from undertaking a task prompted by your True Will. Nor is it my wish to ignore any communication which A.C. might send through you, rather than more directly.

If, therefore, you are in touch with A.C., you are welcome to deliver for me the following fraternal message if you care to do so.

Watchman, what of the Night!—and the New Day! One, in passing, entered the City of the Pyramids on June 21, 1916. A full cycle of Saturn elapsed on December 7th 1945. V-J Day arrived well within the allotted Cycle, and since then there seems evidence that "Omnia in Uno" is reflected (partially) on a wider scale in U.N.O. Perhaps another cycle is needed to staunch the wound of 777.

Stauros through 777 is not cross; even if you did question in 1916: Who's C.C? Does it mean Charlie Chaplin?: and Leucocephalus. The latter, however, though still in the woods, has changed his Ibis ways, and is now more actively engaged as C.C.—Centurus Carolinus—mistakenly thought by some to be a Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker. However, just simple Woodpecker's good enough, and from my window I gaze at the old stump on which he has worked for so long. Sitting there one painted a picture of the view, and am sending you a photograph from same remembrance.
