Dear Louis

I fear your letter went straight into Richardson's [Ralph Richardson] hands; of course he doesn’t care a snap.

If you would wire me, or better telephone Baldslow 19, the date, I might be able to do something myself in the town. If you ’phone, 8-8.30 P.M. is a dead cert. Or 10 A.M.

Too hot to write more!

Love

Yours

A.C.
