Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to Louis Umfreville Wilkinson
Louis Wilkinson Grove Heart Ripley Surrey
21.10.36
Dear Louis,
Do what thou wilt is the whole of the Law.
Yours of Oct. 15th: I am not really remiss in not having written. I said to myself every day I am sure to get a letter by the next post, or a wire, or a telephone call. To irritation, I admit, but I attached no blame to you.
I will expect you on the 30th, then, unless I hear to the contrary.
With regard to myself, all is quite as usual if anything I am a little better than I have been of late.
The weather has been really daunting; I have not been able to bring myself to go to the Chess Club for weeks—it is just awkward to fit in times.
Sorry about the note, but sooner or later you will find someone on the way to Denmark.
Love is the law, love under will.
Yours fraternally, rather pressed for time
Aleister
