Dear Louis

Do what thou wilt is the whole of the law.

Thanks for yours of Nov. 4 It was awfully good of you to execute my little commissions so satisfactorily. I am very glad you enjoyed your visit here; I was feeling so dull myself that I was afraid you would find me the same. I am still rather fed-up with everything. I do not seem to know what to do with myself. There is nothing particular at which I can work, and the weather is abominably depressing. I hope you will be able to come back quite soon.

Love is the law, love under will.

Yours ever

Aleister
