Dear J.S.

I have sold 50 Olla to Atlantis Book Shop. He has one copy, and wants 24 as soon as you are ready to distribute, and 25 a fortnight later. 33 and a third per cent, of course.

Michael Juste thinks 40 copies far too many to distribute, and I agree. But perhaps you have personal contacts which would justify any paper or magazine—It is of course entirely in your discretion. I only ask you not to waste copies on obviously useless rags.

Frieda Harris comes to Hastings tomorrow; I hope you and one or more friends will be with the party.

Happy New Year to you.

93     93/93.

Yours sincerely,

A.C.

P.S. I hope you liked the blurb on the dust-jacket. Did any one send you a typescript of Liber Aleph, The Book of Wisdom or Folly?

A.C.
