Dear Louis

So glad to have got your chit this A.M. Perfectly beautiful here; great trees falling all over the place. One nearly crashed through my window—not for the first time. I strongly advise you and J.L. to come right away and enjoy the rapture of WHITE! We're not held up, save that the telephone lines are down; but who cares? There is only one guest bar Sylvia and myself; so you'd have first pick of rooms. Damned busy trying to clear arrears—so no more.

Yours

Aleister
