Dear Louis

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.

I was delighted to have your letter of the 14th. I may now be considered well, though I mustn't overtax my strength. However I have finished correcting the proofs of "The Book of Wisdom and Folly". They have done very well, and there is hardly any trouble about literals and so on.

I shall be glad to see you—very glad—any time that you get a chance to run down, if it is only for the day. I am sure your bedside manner would do a great deal to complete my cure.

Love is the law, love under will.

Yours,

Aleister
