Correspondence from Aleister Crowley to Frieda Harris

"Netherwood",

The Ridge

Hastings,

Sussex.

5th November, 1947.

My very dear Frieda,

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

Your telegram received Saturday lifted a great weight from my mind. You leave the court without a stain on your character.

I am still hopelessly feeble; the Doctor has even stopped me taking my little exercise every morning. I suppose we must wait for time to put things right.

Sorry I cannot write more this afternoon but I have so much to do.

Love is the law, love under will.

Yours,

Ever devotedly,

Aleister
