Dear Williamson,

Your 22 June 51.

In Regardie's [Israel Regardie] Golden Dawn volume 4 you will find (1) a ceremony of evocation (of Axir), (2) a consecration ceremony for the talisman of Jupiter, (3) a ceremony for becoming invisible, (4) a ceremony for transformation, (5) the Bornless Ritual for the invocation of the Holy Guardian Angel. 2 and 5 are probably the safest to experiment with.

All the G.D. rituals are given in full with diagrams in Regardie's Golden Dawn volume 2. That for 50 - 60 is the best and the most dramatic. You would however have to set up a complete Temple. You can get all the details out of Regardie's above mentioned 4 volumes.

The Rites of Eleusis in The Equinox Vol. 1 number 6 gives you 7 dramatic rituals, one for each of the planets, as written and staged by A.C. at the Caxton Hall. These performances did him no good. You could however copy them if you wished.

I cannot help you put on any of the above as I have never seen them done. Even if I were competent to stage manage them, or help you with them, I would not do so. In the same way I would not take part in a Christian religious service on the stage. Your ceremonies will be theatrical. You are however dealing with a religious subject and I will play no part in theatricalising it. You will give offence of you so do, and no good will accrue to you thereby.

Before staging any of these dramatic performances, you should consider what the result would be, if by chance they actually worked.

Put them on if you want to, but do not expect me to help you to do so, and do not be surprised if no good comes from it.

I will send you a short description of the diagrams in a few days time. You omit the ceiling and floor of the vault of Christian Rosenkroutz: Steffi [Steffi Grant] did both of these for you, but I gather by your omission that you have not room for them.

One more small correction to what I have sent you. It should be Eliphas Levi, NOT Eliphaz Levi—an "s" is not a "z".

Yours,

Gerald Yorke

Let me know as soon as you can on what date to come up, so that I can see the finished room.
