Correspondence from Karl Germer to Marcelo Motta

[Written after a deal with Wilfred Talbot Smith to build a house for Germer on Smith's land. Germer insisted that the piece of Smith's land the house was to be built on be deed to him. In his letter to Motta he refers to this as a "Test" of Smith.]
I did it merely out of consideration of his long-standing loyalty to Thelema, the New Aeon, and to the Master Therion, who had definitely forbidden contact with him. I thought he could have changed fundamentally. He has not. He has built up all that what he has on his own Ego. almost a Smith Dynasty. His secret aim was to get all the Archives on his land.
