Correspondence from Gerald Yorke to Philip Kaplan
5, Montagu Square, W.1. Welbeck 6709.
6 May 58
Dear Mr. Kaplan.
Welcome to London. Please forgive [illegible] but I am in bed recovering from influenza. I expect to be up on the 8th and to go down to the country on the 9th. Could you come to the house on the 8th at 4.30, and then after it I can show you Crowleyana—or else come earlier and have tea after seeing the Crowleyana. It would be pleasant if your wife could come too; as I expect she is like mine and does not entirely approve of my old friend A.C. they can entertain each other while we indulge our hobby.
Yours sincerely
Gerald Yorke
Many thanks for bringing one of the Alexandra proofs: I hope you find that you want some of my duplicates or [illegible] ephemera which are always difficult to pick up.
