Correspondence from Grady McMurtry to Phyllis Seckler
[EXTRACT]
[22 February 1969]
One final word re organization. You are not going to get an organization going until someone, for whatever reason of ego, stupidity, experience, initiatory experience, feels that he/she is ready to "take charge." Your problem then is whether the person is really ready. As A.C. has said, the person who wishes to follow the path of initiation must choose a guru. His success in initiation, then, may very well depend on the "luck of the draw" in choosing the right guru. I feel that I am ready to go, at long last. I only hope that you are ready to go with me.
