Dear ME2

Yours of Aug 17 just in.

I'm here—strange as it may seem to you—and nothing special, good or bad, has happened to me for a long while.

About the Confessions [The Confessions of Aleister Crowley]: Karl Germer 136 Liberty St is the man to talk to. He has the MSS.

Don't know this St Germain man: there are several claimants! Our Mathers [MacGregor Mathers] died Nov 1917 or 18 I think.

About Seabrook [William Seabrook]—he aught at least write me himself. And he could certainly have sent me $10 a week to pay off what he owes. Meanwhile I've been through hell for lack of some such amount.

I don't know "The Witch".

Nothing particular to tell you at present, and it's really too hot here to write much. Best of luck to you, anyhow, and may you soon be here.

Yours ever

Aleister Crowley
